چکیده
The future space-based GAMMA-400 gamma-ray telescope will operate onboard the Russian astrophysical observatory in a highly elliptic orbit during 7 years to observe Galactic plane, Center, Fermi Bubbles, Crab, Vela, Cygnus X, Geminga, Sun, and other regions measure gamma- cosmic-ray fluxes. Observations be performed point-source mode continuously for long time (~100 days). gamma rays energy range from ~20 MeV several TeV electrons + positrons up tens TeV. instrument have very good angle resolutions, high separation efficiency of background, as well protons. main feature is unprecedented angular resolution energies >30 GeV better than ground-based telescopes by factor 5-10. observations permit resolve annihilation or decay dark matter particles, identify many discrete sources, clarify structure extended specify data on electron positron spectra.

Cosmic Gamma - Ray Bursts
1. Abstract GRBs have remained a puzzle for many high–energy astrophysicists since their discovery in 1967. With the advent of the X–ray satellites BeppoSAX and RossiXTE, it has been possible to carry out deep multi-wavelength observations of the counterparts associated with the GRBs just within a few hours of occurence, thanks to the observation of the fading X-ray emission that follows the mo...
متن کاملGamma Ray Bursts and Cosmic Ray Origin
This paper presents the theoretical basis of the fireball/blast wave model, and some implications of recent results on GRB source models and cosmic-ray production from GRBs. BATSE observations of the prompt γ-ray luminous phase, and Beppo-SAX and long wavelength afterglow observations of GRBs are briefly summarized. Derivation of spectral and temporal indices of an adiabatic blast wave decelera...
متن کاملGamma Ray Pulsars: Observations
High-energy gamma rays are a valuable tool for studying particle acceleration and radiation in the magnetospheres of energetic pulsars. The six or more pulsars seen by CGRO/EGRET show that: the light curves usually have double-peak structures (suggesting a broad cone of emission); gamma rays are frequently the dominant component of the radiated power; and all the spectra show evidence of a high...
متن کاملTeV Gamma - Ray Observations and the Origin of Cosmic Rays
The present final part of a triad of plenary talks on the results of high energy gamma-ray astronomy and the origin of Cosmic Rays is primarily devoted to the physics interpretation. I will start with the stereoscopic method of operating several imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes in coincidence as pioneered by HEGRA, and a summary description of the results obtained. Then I will turn to t...
متن کاملGamma Ray Bursts and the Fermi Gamma Ray Space Telescope : Notes to the La Plata Lectures
Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) are a mixed class of sources consisting of, at least, the long duration and short-hard subclasses, the Xray flashes, and the low-luminosity GRBs. In all cases, the release of enormous amounts of energy on a short timescale makes an energetic, relativistic or mildly relativistic fireball that expands until it reaches a coasting Lorentz factor determined by the amount of b...
